Up the Creek without a Waddle

Heavy rains, hail, and plunging temperatures reminded us that the month of March is still here. The resulting flooding on Sycamore Creek was pretty spectacular but it did not hamper the wood ducks and their nesting preparations. In the videos below, a pair of woodies continues their inspection of the nest box. The pair frequently swims or flies past the nest box throughout the morning. They take up a variety of positions in nearby trees to examine the nest box from every possible angle.
