Sunshine State Birds

We spent a long weekend (May 18-22) visiting family on the Florida Gulf Coast. We rented a cottage on the waterfront called the Fulford House in Cortez, Florida. The house was wonderful and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Florida.

Some of the unique and interesting birds we saw from the Fulford House included: Roseate Spoonbill, Magnificent Frigatebirds, Brown Pelicans, White Ibis, Laughing Gulls, Willets, Yellow-Crowned Night Herons, Black-Crowned Night Herons, Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, and tons of Osprey.
