A Midwest Tropical Storm descended on Hogsback Acre on the evening of August 24th. The powerful winds, rain, and strobe-like lightning lasted for hours. The storm developed into an EF2 tornado a few miles to the east of us with winds of up to 135mph. This resulted in the destruction of homes, builds, trees. Worst of all, several people lost their lives.
We were fortunate to escape with minimal tree damage and no damage to the house. We hope everyone can recover from their losses. Below are some photos from the neighborhood.
