American Robin
Turdus migratorius

Common/Seasonal (65%)  RANK: 17

Very common during spring and summer.  Commonly seen eating mulberries in early summer and pokeweed berries in the early winter.  During wet summers, robins commonly feed on earthworms in the lawn, while they are generally scarce during dry summers when worms are less accessible in the well-drained soil on the esker.  The photos below  depict a nest on the front porch of the house during 2020.
